Manhattan, NY – A man threw rocks at the front of an Upper East Side Jewish school, damaging a window, according to police, who are investigating the vandalism as a possible hate crime.

He took a rock from his backpack and threw it at one of the school’s front windows, damaging it, police said. A short time later, the man returned and threw a second rock at another window before fleeing on foot, police said.

The NYPD’s Hate Crimes Unit is investigating the vandalism, police said.
