Trieste – “The Jews are the new racists and fascists” (“Gli ebrei sono i novi razzisti e fascisti”). The black spray writing, in large letters (and with a lot of grammatical error), appeared this morning on a wall of the synagogue of Trieste which is located in the center, between Piazza Giotti and Via San Francesco D’Assisi, few steps from the court. The author, still unknown at the moment, most likely acted during the night. Digos investigates the case. The prosecutor has been informed.
The entire area is equipped with video surveillance cameras. According to what transpires, in the video we see a person, recognizable, who quickly moves away from the place at the time when the writing appeared. Digos is analyzing the footage.
