Hungary – Siófok fans chanted antisemitic rhymes, then attacked and beat the MTK supporters

Budapest – Those who visited the MTK Budapest-Siófok second-class match were able to witness reprehensible events.

Antisemitic chants, threats, verbal and physical attacks – this is how last night’s match at Hungária körút ended.

In a statement, Siófok, which is in NB II, apologized for the fact that a group of its fans chanted antisemitic and hateful rhymes during the MTK-Siófok championship match.

MTK issued a statement on Sunday, according to which it became aware that a group of visiting fans threatened some of our fans by chanting anti-Semitic and hateful rhymes, and based on the reports, there was a physical attack as well as a verbal one.
