Chemnitz – A citizen reported antisemitic graffiti at the city’s Jewish cemetery. According to the police, the complaint was filed on Saturday.

The unknown persons are said to have poured an unknown liquid onto the asphalt at the fence of the cemetery, drawing a swastika and the word “Nazi”.

There was no damage to property because the liquid, possibly water, disappeared without residue a little later, according to the citizen. The police were therefore unable to find anything on site. The state protection of the Chemnitz criminal police nevertheless took up investigations into the use of license plates of unconstitutional organizations.
