Ivano-Frankivsk – At the city’s oldest cemetery near the Cosmos cinema, a part of the fence was destroyed, and the Star of David was torn off.
The United Jewish Community of Ukraine reported on the antisemitic act of vandalism today, October 4, in Telegram.
The police leadership quickly went to the scene, opened a criminal case under Art. 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (hooliganism).
Later it became known that three young men and two girls acted as vandals.
The garden has already been restored with the support of the United Jewish Community of Ukraine.
