Argentina – The new Jewish cemetery in Rosario vandalized

The new Jewish cemetery in Rosario

Rosario – In a statement from her social networks, the Jewish community, Kehila Rosario, announced in the last few hours that the new Jewish cemetery was desecrated during the week. As they pointed out, a group of people who have not yet been identified damaged a large number of tombstones and then left without stealing anything.

“It happened on Wednesday night. It was an act of antisemitic hatred, a desecration. They entered and destroyed without taking anything,” said Gabriel Dobkin, president of DAIA Rosario, consulted by Rosario3 about how the vandalism took place.

While other community leaders dismissed that it was an act of religious hatred and in the official statement specified that this was within the framework of “the general situation that our country is going through.”
