Belgium – A swastika tagged on a grave in the Forest cemetery in Beersel

Beersel – Gad Deshayes discovered a swastika as well as the word “Nazi” underlined in black on his grandfather’s grave in the Forest cemetery in the town of Beersel, on the border with Uccle.

The tomb is in a space reserved for people of the Jewish faith, away from the entrance to the cemetery. According to the family, no other graves were vandalized. “It is the only stone on which there is an explicit reference in French to the Shoah. All the others are written in Hebrew.”

A complaint has been filed.
