Germany – Tombstones torn out and overturned at the Jewish cemetery in Heiligenstadt

Heilbad Heiligenstadt – Unknown perpetrators tore gravestones out of the ground at the Jewish cemetery in Heiligenstadt in the district of Bamberg and then knocked them over.

On Friday evening (September 2nd), Bamberg-Land police officers were informed that tombstones at the Jewish cemetery in Heiligenstadt had been damaged. In total, the perpetrators tore five gravestones out of the ground and violently knocked them over. They also removed trail markers.
