Kassel – Another antisemitic artwork found at Documenta15. A caricature of a greedy, long-nosed Jew, which is unmistakably familiar from Nazi publications.

The picture shows four people who are about to divide up large amounts of money in the form of money bags. One of them is depicted with a long nose, puffy lips, and a malicious grin. On its head, he wears a kippa. The caricature is from the art collective Taring Padi (the one who painted the antisemitic banner that was in the meanwhile uninstalled).

The kipa is currently covered with a piece of black tape. So, Taring Padi are apparently aware of their antisemitism, otherwise, they wouldn’t secretly cover part of their work.
