Poland – Children devastated tombstones in the historic Jewish cemetery in Cieszyn and painted swastikas

Cieszyn – Two boys, 11- and 14-year-olds, are the perpetrators of destruction in the 17th-century cemetery in Cieszyn. They also painted swastikas, which fortunately were quickly washed away by the rain.

The Old Jewish Cemetery at Hażlaska Street in Cieszyn is one of the two Jewish cemeterys in the city. It was built in the 17th century, and about 1,500 have been preserved there. tombstones, the oldest of them comes from 1686.
