Manchester – A man was arrested after allegedly racially abusing passengers and spitting at a driver before he was caught dancing at a bus stop.

Police said that the ‘aggressive’ male, who had reportedly racially attacked Jewish passengers on board the 98 Go North West service from Shudehill station to Bury before then spitting on the driver, was taken into custody.

Details of the incident were shared on social media by the Greater Manchester Police Traffic page, who wrote: “@GMPTraffic responded to an aggressive male on a 98 Bus, racially abusing Jewish passengers and spitting on @OfficialTfGM bus driver.

“We won’t tolerate this, the offender was located dancing at a bus stop on the route and we obliged by waltzing him off to custody.”
