Aschaffenburg – Several stumbling blocks were doused with an unknown, apparently corrosive liquid. The exact number of stones and whether property damage had occurred was still unclear on Monday. The Aschaffenburg criminal police are now investigating, the police headquarters in Lower Franconia announced on Monday.
The attacks on the stumbling blocks were reported on Friday afternoon. The police and fire brigade then found that several stones had been poured over them, damaging the surface. It was further said that the attacks must have taken place last week. The period of the offense could not be narrowed down more precisely. The police are asking for information from the public.
