London – Israeli filmmaker Guilhad Emilio Schenker was detained, interrogated by security and ejected from a Roger Waters concert in London after waving an Israeli flag.

Video posted to social media shows Schenker waving the flag in front of Waters as the former Pink Lloyd frontman stands on stage in a uniform resembling that of a Nazi officer.

A short time later, security guards arrive, take the Israeli flag from Schenker and lead him away from the stage.

Eyewitnesses told Mako that there were spectators who had Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) flags in their possession but nothing happened to them, whereas seven security guards approached Schenker and forcibly took him to an interrogation room, searched him and confiscated the Israeli flag.

Schenker, for his part, said he fails to understand the problem with his actions and the opposition to freedom of speech, but the security guards nevertheless ejected him from the concert.
