Among the speakers announced at the demonstration are Marianne Borgen, mayor of Oslo, and Kari Veiteberg, Oslo bishop of the Church of Norway.

“Boycott apartheid” is one of the slogans during the demonstration.

The mayor and the bishop are completely out of step with the small vulnerable minority. They lend their name to a demonstration that portrays Israel’s entire existence as a catastrophe. It emerges from the slogan “75 years with the nakba”.
