USA – Antisemitic flyers left on cars in Saratoga

Saratoga, CA – Police are investigating a hate incident in Saratoga after a resident found an antisemitic flyer on the windshield of his car Wednesday morning.

The Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office reported that there may have been multiple flyers with “negative ranting about Jewish culture,” placed on cars around town.

A Saratoga resident who lives near the intersection of Cox Avenue and Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road said he found a flyer on his car Wednesday morning on his drive to work and contacted the police.

The news of this incident comes after 10 flyers were distributed at homes in the Marin communities of Ross and San Anselmo on April 21.

“The Sheriff’s Office has a zero-tolerance policy against any and all forms of hate,” the sheriff’s department wrote in a statement. “The Sheriff’s Office strongly encourages anyone who believes that they may have been the victim of a hate crime or hate incident to contact the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office or their local law enforcement agency.“
