Italy – Antisemitic graffiti in the Vigna Murata area

Rome – Some antisemitic writings appeared last night on the walls of the IX Municipality of Rome, near the Fonte Meravigliosa market and the Cecchignola park.

“Laziale Jew” (“Laziale ebreo”), reads an inscription in red. “Rome is still marching” (“Roma marcia ancora”) is another. And again “Lazio-Livorno. Same initials, same oven” (“Lazio-Livorno. Stesse iniziali stesso forno”).

The tone of the writings suggests that they come from typhoid circles, and appear on the eve of April 25, Liberation Day.
