Berlin – Hundreds of people marched through Neukölln and Kreuzberg on Easter Saturday. They shouted antisemitic slogans, including “Death to Israel!”.
The participants in the demonstration waved Palestinian flags. They also chanted “Death to the Jews” and demanded the release of assassins convicted in Israel. The video shows that police officers accompany the demonstration but do not intervene.
A spokesman for the Berlin police reported that there were 500 participants and that the event ran smoothly. So far, no investigations into criminal content have been initiated. But they are possible if video material is evaluated in social media, for example, or if someone reports it.
