Eberswalde – Unknowns smeared a swastika on a memorial of the former synagogue in Eberswalde in the district of Barnim.
The police were made aware of the Nazi symbol on the memorial on Goethestrasse on Friday, officials said on Monday. Accordingly, the forbidden symbol was immediately removed.
The state security determined, as usual in such cases.
