France – The President of the National Assembly received antisemitic threats

Paris – The President of the National Assembly, Yaël Braun-Pivet, announces that she has received an antisemitic threatening letter. She says she filed a complaint. 

She announces that she has filed a complaint after receiving an “absolutely abominable threatening letter”. 

“It starts very kindly with: ‘hello the big Jewish sow. (…) We no longer have zyklon alas but iron bars to eliminate this crap Jude'”, read Yaël Braun in a serious tone on the set of the Grand Jury of RTL.

“I never imagined by engaging in politics that I would have to suffer antisemitism, sexism, violence”, commented in the wake on Twitter the one who occupies perch of the Assembly, ensuring to have a thought for “the other elected officials targeted”.
