Crown Heights, Brooklyn, NY – A woman was arrested for allegedly viciously assaulting an Orthodox Jewish man in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn, New York on Thursday.
The man was shopping in a store on Thursday afternoon at around 3:30 p.m. when he was approached by a woman, described as “mentally unstable,” who physically assaulted him.
The assailant accosted the victim from behind, and screamed antisemitic slurs at him when he would not give her any money. Then she began repeatedly punching him in the face before fleeing the shop.
The man quickly contacted the NYPD and Crown Heights Shmira who were able to find the suspect which led to her arrest by police.
The man was not seriously injured, according to the news outlet.
