Skaneateles, NY – The Skaneateles Police Department is investigating several acts of vandalism that occurred in the village overnight.
Police reported that numerous messages were spray painted on the sidewalks, roadways, and street signs around Leitch Avenue, including one which was anti-Semitic. There were added instances of graffiti on school district property and in Austin Park.
The Skaneateles Police Department received immediate aid to eradicate the damage from the Mayor and Skaneateles Village Board members, Department of Public Works, Skaneateles Central School District, and the Parks Department.
