Gelsenkirchen – At the district derby in Gelsenkirchen, antisemitic choirs were scanned by some Dortmunders in the guest block. They wore uniform sweaters, on which the hooligan symbol and the words “Fight together” were printed in Old German writing. Even before kick-off, individuals from the group had addressed the opposing team and fans with slogans “You Jews” in a clearly devaluing way.

Throughout the game, one person in the group made additional loud anti-Gypsy comments. After opposing fans chanted “Stand up if you’re Schalker,” some members of the hooligan group responded by shouting “Stand up when you’re Jewish.”
