Sondrio – This morning the pupils of the elementary school in via IV Novembre in Sondrio discovered that the Garden of Memory, which they had created last year, had been destroyed.
The vases with the names of the Jewish children arrested in Valtellina and sent to die in Auschwitz were thrown to the ground, the stars of David uprooted and broken, the colorful containers of flowers and aromatic herbs trampled.
