Hungary – A man armed with a knife tried to enter the synagogue on Dohány Street, he was detained

Budapest – A man dressed in a military uniform and armed with a knife tried to enter the Dohány Synagogue yesterday. 

Based on a signal from the Jewish community’s security service, the foreign man was captured by the TEK operations unit. The 29-year-old Polish citizen was interrogated by the capital’s police officers due to the well-founded suspicion of armed rioting, was taken into custody and a motion for his arrest was made. The further procedure will be continued by the BRFK.
