Italy – Antisemitic graffiti and a swastika near the monument to the memory of the La Storta massacre

Rome – A shocking writing appeared in the night, in via Riccardo Moretti, in the Giustiniana area, a few hundred meters from the Monument to Memory which commemorates the massacre of La Storta in the XV district of Rome.

With a black spray can, a swastika was reproduced on the wall and reads: “January 27, when I lost my memory” (“27 gennaio, quando ho perso la memoria”). The road on which the inscription appeared is about 500 meters as the crow flies from Memorial monument, in via Antonio Labranca, and which in the neighborhood commemorates the victims of the Nazi incursion of 4 June 1944, when fourteen people died, including trade unionist Bruno Buozzi.
