Berlin – Several antisemitic incidents occurred in Charlottenburg FC Hertha 06 in the course of an away match between the A-juniors of the district league of TUS Makkabi Berlin. When an Israeli flag was rolled out after the game, a teenager in civilian clothes reacted aggressively.
According to the referee’s observations, he yelled, among other things, “Take the flag away, or I’ll burn you and your dirty flag you bastards, just like the Germans did to you.” It then turned out that it was a player from the home club. The referee stepped in and gave him the red card. Then the youth said, “Fuck you, you son of a bitch, bastard, you were bought by the Jews.”
Another Hertha 06 player showed the Hitler greeting several times in front of TUS Makkabi Berlin audience.
According to a statement from the team manager of TUS Makkabi Berlin, his team was scolded by a woman and asked by a man to leave the stadium.
