UK – Antisemitic incident at a dry-cleaning shop in Highbury

The following is a description of an antisemitic incident that took place at a dry-cleaning shop in Highbury: The incident was posted by Jamie Susskind in Twitter

Highbury, London  – Shaking with anger after an antisemitic incident I just experienced in a dry cleaner / alterations shop in Highbury. Old guy sitting behind the counter – I think I was being helped by his brother and mother, who were being very nice.

About to leave, I ask the price for my alteration. The sedentary man suddenly shouts, “You’ve all got enough money haven’t you?”

“Excuse me?” I said.

“And you lot already own half of Manhattan. That not enough?”

“You lot,” I said. “Do you mean Jews?”

To which he responded by making the shape of a large hooked nose with his hand.
